Located within the Omaha Public School system, it is currently served by Northwest High School, Morton Middle School, and Masters Elementary School. Much of this will change in the near future as the District has set aside nearby sites for new elementary and middle schools. Other educational opportunities can be found in several parochial schools located a short drive away.

The Maple Street corridor is a short drive south on 120^th Street and provides restaurants, a multiplex movie theater, soccer and baseball fields, and shopping of all types. There is also access to I-680 off of both Maple and Fort Streets, providing routes to employment sites across the city.
